Wonderful recipe, delicious manti! Interesting filling, molded quickly and baked in sauce. Be sure to try this method, you should like it!
Ingredients
- dough:
- 1 pc egg
- 130 ml water
- 375 gr flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- filling:
- 1 \ 2 pcs cabbage
- 500 gr minced meat
- 2 tooth garlic
- 1 tsp coriander (ground)
- salt to taste
- 2 pcs onion
- 1 pc hot pepper
- parsley
- vegetable oil for frying
- sauce:
- 400 gr tomatoes
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Steps
Usually, we do not add the egg to the dough for manti that we steam (in a manto-cooker), but here we will add it according to the recipe. We mix everything in a cup and knead well, let the finished dough lie down and rest for 20 minutes. Cover with plastic wrap or put in a bag.
Fry the diced onion until lightly golden. Then add the minced meat and fry everything together.
Finely chop the cabbage (I got a little more than half a fork), add salt and squeeze lightly. And we send it to the minced meat, mix and cook for 10-15 minutes, until the cabbage is half cooked (it should crunch slightly).
Grate tomatoes on a coarse grater.
We divide the dough, as for dumplings, only the blanks are much larger. Roll out the cake, more filling in the center and form the manti.
Pour the resulting tomato juice into the prepared form (mine is 25 * 35 cm), salt and add a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil. Stir and immerse the manti in the tomato (pretty tight).
We send to a preheated oven, covering the form with foil. Cooking at a temperature of 180-200 degrees, 35 minutes.
