French-style potatoes with meat

This is a classic of Russian cuisine, because The French themselves never cook like that, but for us it is one of our favorite dishes. I try not to cook too fatty even pork with mayonnaise. I make a big baking sheet at once, the family eats it quickly!

Ingredients

  • 2 kg of potatoes
  • 1 kg of pork (I have a ham)
  • 2 large onions
  • 2 large tomatoes
  • 200 gr cheese
  • 50 gr mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • to taste Soy sauce, salt and spices

Steps

Let's prepare the meat first. I took the ham, because it is not very greasy. Any piece of pork that can be cut into 1cm thick slices will do. However, pork can be replaced with any meat. Put the pieces of meat on a cling film, close it on top with it and beat off a little (the hammer is clean and there is no splash). Put the meat in a bowl, salt, pepper, add your favorite spices, herbs, a little soy sauce, mix and leave to marinate while we prepare the rest

We clean the potatoes and cut them into slices. Tomato and onion rings. Three onions on a coarse grater and mix with mayonnaise (so much mayonnaise is not needed and the onion will not burn). To make layers and rings quickly and uniformly, I use a flat nozzle grater.

On a baking sheet, lay the foil and grease with oil. We spread by distributing the potatoes, salt
