I've been making this sauce for a long time.
I was taught by a kindergarten chef forty years ago.
This sauce is truly unique. Suitable for any side dish.
Very easy to prepare.
Ingredients
- 1 heaped tablespoon flour
- 1 onion
- 1 small carrot
- 50 grams of sunflower oil
- 1 tablespoon tomato
- 300-350 gr of water
- to taste Salt, pepper, herbs
Steps
First of all, we prepare flour. Dry it in a dry frying pan. Just don't set it on fire.
Chop the onions and carrots in your usual way.
Dissolve a tomato in water. Fry onions and carrots in oil, add flour, stirring occasionally. Once the flour combines with the onions and carrots, add the diluted tomato. Season with salt, pepper, add herbs. The gravy will thicken. If very thick, add water and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Make the consistency whatever you like.
