In autumn and winter there is little sun and vitamin D and this is really felt in the general decline of vitality. In the sun, there is an active production of the hormone of joy, serotonin, and for a long time without the sun it cannot but leave an imprint on our mood.
In the sunless season, everyone gets it from wherever they can, i.e. from various sources (fish, porcini mushrooms, artificial vitamin D3, etc. ..). We make nutritious plant-based milk from sunflower seeds, rich in plant protein and vitamins.
Ingredients
1. Sunflower seeds - handful
2. Date - 2 pieces (without them)
3. Water - 1 glass
Preparation
We take sunflower seeds, fill them with water (from evening to morning) so that they "wake up". We put them in a blender container (we do this without peeling off the skins), throw in the pulp of dates (for sweetness, you can without them).
Top up with warm water, grind for about 1 minute, filter through a strainer with small holes and the sunflower milk is ready (we drink it fresh until it oxidizes when interacting with oxygen).
