The salad is very easy to prepare, contains composed of only three ingredients. These products go well with each other and I have not met a person who did not like this salad.

Captain's Salad with Hot Smoked Fish

Hot smoked cod or sea bass are best. Most often I did salad for the holiday with such a fish. The main thing to always remember is that bad fish will not make a delicious salad.

It should also not be forgotten that the fish should be of medium density, not very tough, in order to go well with mint potatoes.

  • Butcher the fish so that there are no bones.
  • Peel and finely chop the onion. Pour boiling water over it. When the onion has cooled, add it to the fish.
  • Wash the potatoes and boil them in their uniforms.
  • Ready boiled potatoes peel and mash with a crush.

Add fish and onions to it, you do not need to salt, since the fish is already salted.

It remains to fill the salad with mayonnaise.

For this amount of salad, 200-250 g of mayonnaise is needed.

Mix everything thoroughly.
