Today I will tell you about the preparation of an unusual dish, namely French toast dessert. I am sure that this original dish will be a great alternative to sweets, which are already tired of the New Year holidays. I have such a dish extremely positively assessed by all family members.

1. Put in a bowl cream cheese (100 grams), honey (90 grams) and cinnamon (a quarter teaspoon). Mix everything thoroughly and put in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. (photo scroll to the right)

2. Roll out slices of bread with a rolling pin (I took an ordinary loaf, the French recipe uses toast bread, but also with ordinary bread it turned out delicious) place the filling between two slices of bread. Then, using a glass, jar or special mold trim the edges of the resulting sandwich.

3. Press the edges of the sandwich with your fingers and with the teeth of a fork we make a beautiful pattern. Next, break into a bowl chicken eggs (2 pieces), add milk (2 tablespoons) and mix well. Dip our sandwiches in this mixture.

4. Put parchment paper on a baking sheet, and a wire rack on top. Put the sandwiches on the wire rack and put in the preheated oven up to 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes. When the surface of the bread turns golden, take it out of the oven and leave cool for 5-10 minutes. Sprinkle with icing sugar or jam on top. It turns out very tasty.
