Today in my article I will talk about unusual Finnish salad with beef and herring. A few days ago I found out about the recipe for this salad, decided to try it, but I was sure that I was preparing this salad for the first and last time. In reality it turned out unexpectedly tasty - I liked the dish as well as my whole family. Now I'm sure that I will definitely repeat the preparation of these flavor paradoxes.

Main ingredients: small herring (1 piece), boiled beef (200 grams), potatoes (2 small tubers), apple (1 piece), beets (half a medium fruit), chicken egg (1 piece), pickled cucumber (1 piece), onions (a quarter of an onion), black pepper.

1. Butcher fillet herring, if the fish is hard, then soak it in milk or tea leaves for 15-20 minutes, my herring was soft, so I did not soak. Then cut into cubes fish, potatoes, onions, beets, pickles and apples. (photo scroll to the right)

3. Whisk the cream (with a mixer or a whisk), I had 30% cream, but it is better to take fatter, the fatter the better. Decorate the salad with cream. It turns out very tasty and unusual, but it is not difficult to prepare, the only thing is that it takes a lot of time to pull the bones out of the herring.
