In today's article I will tell you how to refresh stale coffee and give it the same qualities, that is, to restore the original tart taste and aroma. I often buy new coffee without finishing the old one, and the leftovers lose their taste. The shelf life of any coffee, both ground and beans, is from 1 to 5 years, but after a couple of months the coffee loses its original aroma. I have tested two ways to "rejuvenate" coffee, and both have proven to be efficient and effective.

1. The first way concerns grain coffee. I just found a coffee in the closet that had been sitting for over a year. The smell of the grains was completely absent. We spread the grains in any container and fill cold boiled water. We wait 30 minutes and drain the water. Then put the grains on a baking sheet in the oven and bake at a temperature 180 degrees for 10 minutes. As a result, the grains acquired original aroma and former tart taste. Everything is shown in detail in the photo, scroll to the right.

2. The second method will "rejuvenate" any ground coffee. I found the remains of ground coffee, which is about 2 years old. All you need to do is pour it into a frying pan, add a little salt and heat for 5 minutes. The taste and aroma will be much better - I checked it myself. By the way, if you need to improve the taste of any coffee, you can add to the Turk with the finished drink a third of a teaspoon of cocoa, and the taste will be much better.
