In today's article I will tell and show what will happen if you put rubber bands on a watermelon. This interesting experiment was conducted by my son with a girlfriend for his blog. I asked to capture a watermelon in a photo, after every 100 rubber bands. Let's see what happened!
So, a watermelon was bought, weighing about 7 kilograms, and three packs of stationery 200 grams each.
It was difficult to put on the first elastic bands, as they glided over the berry (watermelon is a berry). But, literally after a few dozen pieces, the process was simplified, since the rubber bands were strung on top of each other. The photo shows 100, 200 and 300 rubber bands, scroll to the right.
After the third hundred rubber bands, the watermelon began to swell and gradually take the shape of an eight.
The place where the elastic bands were concentrated narrowed significantly, it was felt that the tension was already strong enough. The photo shows 400, 500 and 600 rubber bands, scroll to the right. After being dressed 600 elastic bands, there was a feeling that every next 10 pieces will be the last. The watermelon is swollen from above and below. To 690 elastic band juice began to ooze from it, after another 10 pieces a small crack appeared. And on 704 rubber band watermelon literally ripped. I strongly advise against repeating this experiment at home, as the entire room was in the watermelon, including the walls and ceiling. One half of the watermelon remained on the table, the other flew several meters away. The article was interesting - put your thumbs up! Scroll the photo to the right.
