Today I will tell you about two interesting dishes that can be obtained from garlic arrows. Arrows of garlic are called unblown flower buds. They are pruned so that all the power of the plant goes to the root. I'm sure most people throw out arrows without even knowing that they can be made into a real treat. Until recently, I also did, but now I do not throw away the garlic arrows, but I make a full-fledged side dish or paste for a sandwich out of them.
1. We wash the garlic arrows, cut off the arrow itself with a knife or scissors. The rest of the green curl cut into 2-3 centimeters. We heat the pan by adding butter and vegetable oil (300 gr. shooter - 30 gr. butter and 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable). Place the arrows in the pan and salt to taste. Fry, turning 5-7 minutes, when they become soft and a little dark - done. The smell - beyond words! It turns out a full-fledged side dish. 2. The second course of garlic arrows will be paste. Cut the arrows into 2-3 centimeters each, add salted lard (in a two-to-one ratio, arrows and lard, respectively) and skip in a meat grinder. Stir well. Such a paste very tasty to eat spread on bread or loaf. But you can also freeze the paste by filling the freezer trays with it. In winter, you can add these cubes to soups or to a skillet.
