Hello dear readers of my channel. Today I want to talk about the trends in modern makeup, and specifically about those that many women of elegant age criticize and refuse to accept.
From myself, I can say that the rejection of these trends by older women is understandable to me, and I am glad that mature women sensibly assess how all these cosmetic innovations look on the face with age changes.
Wide eyebrows
Yes, some people go with wide eyebrows, but only a few. The downside of wide eyebrows is that they visually "age" (or make them older if the eyebrows are shaped on a young face).
I believe that there is nothing better than the golden mean - medium-width eyebrows, the color of which matches the shade of the hair.
Red-orange shadows
Red and red shadows are very insidious. They are able to highlight all skin imperfections that have a red or red-red pigment. In addition, the shadows of these colors can visually make the face look tired / sick.
I have met not so many women of age who would have the perfect skin color (without blue under the eyes, rosacea, rashes on the face). And many of them would have to apply a lot of corrective agents to the skin so that the shades of red or red-red colors looked good. But, perhaps, many readers will agree with me, a lot of corrective agents on aging skin look, to put it mildly, "not very".
There are two ways out: Either use small amounts of red eyeshadow (for example, apply to the center of the upper eyelids to highlight the color of the eyes), or not use them.
Highlighter
Not so long ago I wrote an article about a highlighter, gave recommendations on where to apply it to look fresh. However, under the article there were quite a few disapproving comments about the use of a highlighter on an older face.
In fact, the highlighter is very refreshing to the face, however, provided it is used correctly. Do not forget that all cosmetics with reflective particles enhance the skin's texture. Therefore, before using the highlighter, you must properly prepare your face.
For anti-aging makeup, the highlighter should be applied to the lines shown in the photo above, and be sure pre-apply the base under the eyeshadow and the base under the make-up (means that visually level skin relief).
