Hello dear readers of my channel. Today, the article will focus on matte lip pencils. I believe that matte pencils must be in the arsenal of all women, especially older women.
The fact is that in many women, lips become deformed with age. And matte pencils are capable of giving the lips more attractive outlines.
What are matte pencils for?
- to visually lift the corners of the lips;
- to smooth out the sharpened "arch of Cupid";
- to visually correct lip tightness;
- for lip augmentation.
Important: to correct these changes, it is required to slightly go beyond its natural contour when drawing the lip contour. To make the lips look natural and beautiful, it is important to go behind the contour locally in the right places.
I often see in the comments that women criticize lip makeup when lipstick / pencil goes beyond the contour. It does not always look beautiful when the natural lip contour is too clear and has a bulge. With age, the bulge of the contour is no longer so visible, so a competent local adjustment looks pretty decent even in daylight.
Important: if you use lipstick of a delicate shade, then age-related changes in the lips are not particularly striking. When using bright saturated lipsticks, it is better to pre-correct the shape (if required), otherwise you will emphasize the "imperfections" of the lips.
Why matte pencil
The fact is that a matte pencil does not refract light, and looking at the lips from any angle, the correction of the "imperfections" of the lips is practically invisible. However, provided that "make-up interventions" are applied locally.
For understanding, I want to demonstrate how the tightness of the lips is corrected, and as a result, the lips look plump and younger:
Driving behind the contour is made only on the lower lip from the sides.
I will note: it is not necessary to use a matte lipstick with a matte pencil, you can use satin lipstick, but it is important do not run it behind the natural contour of the lips, otherwise due to the refraction of light (and satin lipsticks tend to break the light) it will be seen that the lip makeup is done with a run outside contour.
