The time of Great Lent is approaching, and if earlier believers led at this time not only an ascetic lifestyle, but also switched to a very a modest range of products, in recent years the variety of lean products in stores and cafes makes everyone feel comfortable without exceptions.
Today I will share with you a recipe for pancakes with mushrooms. Mushrooms are not an obligatory ingredient, you can do without them, you can just make frying from onions and carrots, and this will be your filling, but whatever you want. The main thing is that it should not be meat.
For potato pancakes we need:
- Potatoes - 1 kg.
- Flour - 3 tbsp.
- Champignons - 400 gr.
- Carrots - 1 pc.
First, set the potatoes to boil. While it is cooking, let's start frying. Chop the mushrooms and carrots finely.
Fry the mushrooms in a pan for about 7 minutes. Let them first give water, only then add carrots to them and fry everything until golden brown.
While we were busy with mushrooms, the potatoes were boiled. Make mashed potatoes without adding milk and butter.
Add flour to the puree and knead the dough.
Next, we make small cakes from potato dough, put the filling on them, and connect the ends of the cake, form a pie.
All we have to do is fry the potato pancakes in a pan until golden brown.
In total, it took us 20-25 minutes to cook and 12-15 pancakes on the table. For example, I have already put off several pieces for tomorrow with me to work. Grab some more vegetables, and you are guaranteed a full meal.
That's all! Lenten and delicious pancakes are ready!
Bon Appetit everyone!
