Vegetable rolls in the post with a spicy dressing

Fasting has been going on for several days, and the diet has been so reduced that I think about food very often. But Post is a restriction, not a hunger strike, so I stood in traffic jams and began to remember recipes, which I have cooked more than once, and which could help me now not to feel hungry and tired. It's good that I remembered the roll recipe.

I cooked it more than once, but along with vegetables, meat was present in the filling, and mayonnaise acted as a connecting link.

Today I want to offer you a variant of a vegetable roll with lemon sauce.

For a roll for 4 servings, we need:

  • Armenian thin lavash - 1 pc.
  • Iceberg lettuce (or cabbage) - half lettuce
  • Sweet pepper - 0.5 pcs.
  • Cucumber - 0.5 pcs.
  • Onions - 0.5 pcs
  • Carrots - 1pc
  • Tomato - 1 pc.

For the sauce you need:

  • Lemon - 0.5 pcs.
  • Lemon zest
  • Olive oil
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Salt, pepper - to taste

Everything is prepared very quickly, does not require any heat treatment.

Chop the salad, cut the cucumber into thin strips.

Next, cut the carrots and peppers into thin strips.

If the tomato is juicy, slicing it into thin slices will be difficult, but tomato juice will work great as a gravy ingredient.

Finely chop the onion. Put all the vegetables in a salad bowl and make the sauce.

Rub the lemon zest. Squeeze juice from half a lemon,

pour olive oil, add balsamic vinegar.

Salt and pepper to taste. Mix all ingredients well.

Lay vegetables on pita bread, pour sauce on top.

We fold pita bread into a tight roll,

cut and serve.

There should not be too much sauce, otherwise the lavash will simply disperse in your hands.

You can use soy mayonnaise instead of this sauce.
