COOKING METHOD
First, let's prepare the dough. Pour 100 ml of water into a bowl, 1/2 tsp. salt, break 1 egg,
mix, pour in 30 ml of vegetable oil and mix again. Now gradually add flour and knead the dough.
The dough should be as elastic as a dumpling. Flour will need 300-350g. It all depends on the size of the egg and the flour itself. We remove the dough while it is busy with the filling.
Put 500 grams of minced meat in a bowl, chop 2 onions and a couple of garlic cloves with a blender.
Add to the minced meat.
Add half a tsp. salt, black pepper and mix.
Knead the dough and divide it into 2 equal parts for convenience. We take one part and roll out a thin layer of dough, the thinner the better. Cut into strips with an ordinary or curly knife.
For convenience, I tuck in what shape I want to get the manti and cut it off. From one part of the dough, I get 4 strips. Put the minced meat on one edge of the strip and distribute it evenly. Now we wrap the roll loosely, fix the edge. Here is such a rose.
In total, I get 8 pieces.
Let's make the sauce. Cut the onion into cubes, grate the tomatoes, cut in half and grab the peel, remove the peel, we do not need it.
Pour in vegetable oil. Put onion and fry until translucent. Now add the tomatoes, fry for another minute. Now add a couple of garlic cloves passed through a garlic press.
We take 200 grams of sour cream, mix it with 200 ml of water and pour it into the tomatoes. We mix. Add salt and black pepper to taste, bring to a boil.
Now we lower the manti. They should almost disappear into the water. Simmer over medium heat until tender. It takes 20-30 minutes. When finished, they look like this. Serve as an independent dish, supplemented with vegetable salad.
