Indian cakes on kefir

A real delicacy, tortillas are not only very easy to prepare, but also very tasty and beautiful. In fact, I have prepared such cakes more than once, but I did not know that they were Indian, but still they are slightly different.

Recipe:

Kefir -300ml.

Flour - 350 gr.

Soda -1 tsp

Sugar -1 tbsp

Vegetable oil - 1-2 tbsp.

COOKING METHOD

Let's measure 350 grams of flour, add 1 tsp. soda and mix. Pour 300 ml of kefir into a bowl, add 1 tsp. salt and 1 tbsp. Sahara.

Mix and add flour and soda to kefir. Knead the dough, the dough should not be tight, otherwise the cakes will not be soft, but not too soft, the dough sticks to your hands.

Pour vegetable oil 1 tbsp into the palm. and knead the dough. If you wish, you can leave it to stand for 15 minutes, or you can immediately start rolling. Divide the dough into 9-10 pieces and make balls.

We take one bun, roll it well in flour and roll it out with a rolling pin to a diameter of about 10 mm, now we take the seeds sesame seeds and sprinkle the cake now with a rolling pin, press the sesame seeds into the cake and continue to roll out to a diameter of 15-17 cm.

Pour a little vegetable oil into the pan, put the blank and fry over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.

Tortillas are fried quickly. The end result is a whole pile of mouth-watering, aromatic cakes.
