I am telling you how the set of the TV show Live Food is arranged.
In March, I was filming for the program Live Food on the NTV channel. I have already talked in detail about how the shooting proceeds under quarantine conditions (I will leave a link to the article at the end), but today I want to share how the studio works.
I was always curious to know what was happening behind the scenes, and in between filming I was able to look at the “kitchen” of Live Food. Let's show you how it looks.
The studio space is a fairly large room with a high ceiling and no walls. More precisely, there are walls, but these are all decorations. One wall is lined with thick black curtains. Sometimes the curtains are opened, but most of the time the shooting takes place under artificial lighting.
The room is large, and during my filming there were 4 different locations (shooting spaces). I couldn't shoot the location where the program was being filmed, as it was dark there. Let's show you what we managed to capture.

Literally through the curtain, there is a location where video materials are filmed for the transfer. Shooting is done from above and sometimes from the side. Nearby on the wall there are photographic backdrops, which are used if you want to take shots on a solid background.
The fourth location I was able to photograph only during its assembly. Many locations are specially built for certain scenes, and then dismantled. Thus, you can shoot everything in the studio and not go to real objects.
To collect different locations, you need a lot of props. And there is a separate large room for the props. Just look at how much there is. It turned out that this is only a small part, the main props are stored in the warehouse. Notice the human spine in the corner, I wonder what it was used for?
Wheels are screwed to most large furniture from below, this is done so that, for example, the table can be easily rolled and used in another location. By the way, the creation of each such location is a separate work. It is important that everything looks natural in the frame.
For example, here is the location of the home kitchen where my shooting took place. In the foreground is a table, behind a shelf with all sorts of things. There is even an oven, however, it is solely for the entourage. By the way, a light source was placed in it on purpose, so that it seemed as if something was baking in it.
