I was interested in the recipe, but I immediately got the feeling that the author of the recipe used this method to warm up the interest of readers. And the premonition did not disappoint me.
In general, the recipe is working, but there are nuances that the author of the video does not tell. I will share my opinion at the end, but now let's cook.
A step-by-step recipe on how to make pancakes in a bottle
Ingredients:
- Milk 3 cups
- Flour 2.5 cups
- Eggs 2 pcs
- Vegetable oil 3 tablespoons
- Sugar 2 tablespoons
- Salt 1 teaspoon
- Bottle 1.5 - 2 liters
In the original recipe, the author suggests loading all the ingredients into a bottle and then shaking until smooth.
I did just that. All dry ingredients, I prudently sent to the bottle first, so as not to wash the funnel.
And when I began to add flour, I ran into a problem.The flour got stuck in the narrow neck of the funnel. The author of the method suggests making a funnel from a second bottle and a cork, and then adding flour will be easier.
In practice, this takes additional time, plus an unprepared person may not succeed the first time.
I decided to just push through the flour with a Chinese stick and did it pretty quickly. True, some of the flour scattered on the table.
After all the ingredients are in the bottle, you need to knead the dough. To do this, the author suggests shaking the bottle for 5 minutes.
In fact, it turned out to be difficult. I was worn out already in the second minute, but continued to shake, humming under my breath the chorus of the song "Go crazy."
When it came time to bake pancakes, I already cursed this method. And after I found lumps in the pan, my patience came to an end. I threw the bottle of dough in the trash. This is the only thing that is really convenient and simple in this cooking method. It's time to summarize.
The way is working, but definitely needs some work. Especially in terms of kneading dough. Surely you can ensure that the dough turns out without lumps. But, in my opinion, it is easier to prepare pancakes in the usual way. Do not waste your energy, nerves and especially food.
