To make curd snacks, I only needed 3 ingredients and a bar of chocolate. I show you how to cook them at home.
I have always been calm about curd snacks. But recently something happened to me and I need curd cheese every day. Moreover, not a simple cheese, namely from B.Yu. Alexandrov.
All other cheeses pale before the cheeses of this brand. But they are quite expensive. Therefore, I decided that the time had come to make such curds myself. What I did, read below.
Step-by-step recipe on how to make curd snacks at home
Ingredients:
- Cottage cheese 500 g
- Powdered sugar 75 g
- Butter 50 g
- Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
- Glaze:
- Dark chocolate 150 g
- Vegetable oil 50 g
I rub the cottage cheese through a sieve, then send it to the blender bowl.
Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract and punch until combined. When the mass becomes homogeneous, add butter at room temperature and stir.
I put it in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes so that the mass freezes a little, then it will be easier to form curds.
I take the mass out of the cold and put it on cling film in heaps of 50-60 grams. I wrap it in plastic and form the cheese. I put the “sausages” on a baking sheet (you can use a board) and put them in the freezer for 1 hour.
To prepare the glaze, melt all the ingredients in a water bath or in the microwave and stir.
I cover each cheese in turn with glaze, put it on a baking sheet and put it back in the freezer for 10-15 minutes to stabilize the chocolate.
I did not prepare the icing, but used the rest of the other dessert. But not all of the curds were enough, so some of the curds remained in the freezer until the next time. It's time to find out what cheese tastes like.
The cheeses are very tender. I specially selected such cottage cheese so that it was without grains. If we compare these cheeses with store-bought ones, then the taste surpasses even B.Yu. Alexandrov.
The shape of the home, of course, is not ideal. Although, if you freeze curd cakes in special molds, you cannot tell. I liked the recipe, I will definitely cook some more.
